On sustainable trade, trade finance, and market access — designed to build capability, align stakeholders, and translate insight into action.

JANET MULU, I.T.S
Founder & CEO, impacTower
Janet Mulu is the Founder and CEO of impacTower — a sustainable trade advisory firm helping businesses go global with impact. She is an Accredited International Trade Specialist (ITS) and a certified B Leader, leading the organisation's strategy, growth, and impact across trade, sustainability, and client success.
With over 17 years of experience spanning international trade, corporate banking, and sustainability leadership, Janet has worked across Africa, the UK, and emerging markets. She has facilitated global programmes in trade finance and ESG, and is an award-winning advocate for gender equity and social innovation.
When she began her journey in international trade, one thing stood out: so many businesses with incredible ideas and products were held back — not by talent, but by missing sustainability certifications. Without these credentials, opportunities were missed, growth slowed, and partnerships limited. That is why she became a certified B Leader and founded impacTower — to help businesses turn sustainability from a checkbox into a strategic advantage.
We deliver work through three complementary formats, tailored to meet organisational needs.
Practical learning on sustainable trade, trade finance, and market access to strengthen capability and enable application.
Interactive, outcome-driven sessions that align stakeholders, surface practical solutions, and turn complexity into action.
Keynote speaking, event chairing, and facilitation across summits, conferences, and policy dialogues.
How businesses can expand into new markets while building resilient, responsible supply chains.
Embedding sustainability into trade operations, procurement, and value chains.
Understanding trade finance structures, risks, and opportunities in developing markets.
Unlocking growth opportunities across African markets under AfCFTA and beyond.
How businesses can integrate gender and inclusion into trade and sustainability strategies.
Join us for practical insights, peer learning, and meaningful connections across the sustainable trade community.
